I finally did it! I jumped into the world of blogging. I am excited to be able to share our families wild and crazy daily lives with our loved ones.

We are enjoying life everyday as we move from one activity to another. Haley right now is playing basketball, piano, cello, and staying very involved with the Young Women's program. She is a very hard worker and still a big help at home with her siblings. Haley is excelling quickly in seventh grade. She enjoys all her classes and her teachers. She continues to be a very laid back person and very unselfish always thinking of others.

Mckay can't wait until the snow flies to shred it up on the mountain snowboarding. He wrote in his school paper that he wants to become a professional snowboarder! Good luck Mckay! He of course is very diligent at his school work too. His fifth grade year is a good year for him. He loves to learn! He is also becoming quite the pianist! He and Haley worked hard at playing a duet with the cello and piano. He accompanied her with the song, "Called to Serve". He is anxiously waiting for basketball season to start! He loves basketball!!!!!

Zachary can't ever put a book down! He loves the world of reading! His favorite subject is math. Zachary is doing extremely well in second grade. He is a good helper around the house and loves to play with Mckay. They are really good friends. Zach is waiting to lose more teeth so he can have a little more room for his HUGE permanent teeth!! Plus he like to get money from the tooth fairy.

What can I say about Rozlyn?!?!? I think her real name is Princess Roz! She has to share the crown of PRINCESS with her sister Raimie! Rozlyn loves anything that is remotely princess: books, dress-up, make-up, toys, coloring books, games, etc. As long as it is pink and resembles a princess she will love it. Roz is very self entertained. She will color by the hours and read books with the remaining hours.(all of course in her princess attire) It is fun to see her get off the bus from kindergarten because as soon as she does she runs towards Raimie with open arms and they hug as if they haven't seen each other forever!!! She loves her sister tons! She thinks she is her other mother. Rozlyn has a curious mind,(we know what happens with those kind of minds.) She loves her kindergarten class and loves doing homework.

Raimie is the other princess in our house! Her favorite colors are of course pink and purple. She is finally learning how to say the "R" sound. It is pretty funny to listen to. She thinks she is one of the big kids because she goes to "pweschool". . .preschool. Raimie is a bowl full of sunshine. She is not really shy and is very outgoing. She as well loves to color and read books by the hours. I am amazed at how many hours a day she and Roz will do these activities. She loves greeting Roz off the bus and LOVES watching the bus in the morning pick all the kids up. Her favorite is waving to the bus driver.

Lane and I are doing well. Lane is fortunately staying busy with his job as the Engineering Manager at Plexus in Nampa. In these unsettling days we feel fortunate to have a stable job. He continues to be a hard worker and has an amazing ability to balance work, home, church responsibilities, and spontaneous responsibilities. His children love him tons and are grateful he can always help them with their math homework. His patience blesses our families lives daily!!!! He enjoys being a dad of five kids. I as well LOVE, LOVE, LOVE being a mom. Yes, it can be hectic, frustrating, and out of control at times but I absolutely love it and wouldn't trade it for anything. I cannot believe how fast they all grow. It seems like I just had Raimie and now she is already 3 1/2 years old. I want to freeze all of them and keep them from growing. I guess that is impossible so I truly enjoy every day I have with them. I do have to say, though, I couldn't do any of this parenting thing without Lane's help. I love him tons and am grateful for his love and support. I am glad our children have him as a role model!!!!
